In the most fabulous news the Bronx Museum is throwing a bash in tribute to the legendary Willi Ninja in memory of the 10th anniversary of his passing. Ninja shot to fan though Harlem's underground gay ball culture and is known as the godfather of voguing. He has forever be immortalized in cult classic, Paris is Burning directed by Jennie Livingston, and was the inspiration for Madonna's iconic Vogue music video.
The event is hosted by B-girl Ana “Rokafella” Garcia who is a legend in her own right. Join the event to commemorate the career of one of Voguing's visionary pioneers and powerful advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness with the presentation of the first Willi Ninja Award, a performance by the NYC Legendary House of Ninja, runway show, video and film montage celebrating the life of Willi Ninja, and a reception featuring music by Guest DJ'S including DJ KS360.
